In OHIO I have successfully renewed my DL for 4 full years solely on original I-485 receipt.
On H1 they still give 1 year extensions.

Hi Everyone,
Need some inputs urgently. I recently joined a company. They had posted job offering all over the place without much success. Finally they decided to hire me on H1.
Now while initiating the Green Card process, I am being told
"Nothing can be used from our original recruiting as there are strict guidelines on the resources that must be used for the recruiting (i.e. posted on our website for 10 days and screen shots taken every day, etc.). Everything needs to be started from scratch"
Is this correct? What is the correct process in PERM?
Here is what the Attorney's office says:
"The entire labor certification process, from initial preparation to recruitment to approval of the application, takes about 6 months. However, we will work very closely with your office to complete the necessary steps in the least amount of time feasible. Once we receive the inputs from your office, we will work with you to prepare the job description and minimum requirements. Once that is finalized we will identify the recruitment options and begin recruitment. We must file the application within 180 days from the first date the recruitment begins. Our target date to file is 90 days after the first date the requirement begins"
Please advise. Is all the above correct or is there something being quoted incorrectly.

How long will take to tranfer visa from AAA to BBB? and one more doubt, is there any limitation to file Labour because i haven't file labour by current company. my new company may be filling my labour would take 3 to 4 months. is that making any problem to file labour after few months?

Not sure what to say. But I believe in your original H1 petition requested dates of employment were only for one and a half month and I think you will get only that. Unless attorney files an amendment and documentation for additional 3 years. I dont think USCIS will even look at I-140 approval since it was not eve part of the packet

Hello

I went back to Russia, and finished the last year of high school there.
Then in '99 I came back to the USA on an F1 visa, did a four year college. After that I have been continuously employed on H1b, filed for green card in 2007.
RFE is requesting information about Section 212 of Immigration and Nationality Act.
How big of a trouble am I in?

Yes, I realize a H1 transfer is needed to work in another company. And 140 is not approved. So the new company has to start GC all over. Too bad, it looks like priority date cannot be ported since it LC is still in process.

An alien is this situation may request to be admitted for a new 90-day period and be admitted for that new period if slbe is found to be admissible.
Please note that any VWP applicant for admission must establish his admissibility to the satisfaction of the inspecting CBP officers. My I-94 expires in december 2010. I have an approved Advance parole till Dec 2011(I485 is pending). Is it required to travel outside the country and get a new I-94 ?

The Dems. don't want to go this alone. If they get some Republican support they will go along with it.
Republicans will only get on board if they see the proverbial crops rotting, buildings left unbuilt, and inflation picking up and all the beneficial effects of immigration dissipate. Thats what we are seeing now, stepped up enforcement to see if any of this happens. The arrest and deportation of that illegal immigrant who sought refuge in a Chicago church is as much real as symbolic of a shift in US Gov't policy.

For my I-140 (Premium Processing) USCIS's website is showing that they have sent a mail requesting more information on March 27th. Does anyone konw how long it takes to get to the lawyer's office? Para-legal at my lawyer's office told me that it takes about 14 days for that to reach them.
At the same time she told me that they give 30 days (she was not sure) to respond.
Can anyone please confirm this.
