I took this really lousy picture that should have been discarded
as I couldn't get a good photo out of it. I thought I'd try something
different in Photoshop anyway, I need the practice...
Here's a scaled down original of a bird taking a bath:
http://www.interimlocation.com/fretnomore/photo/10d/pictures/smallbirds/img_1050small.jpg
and here's a watercolor like effect that was the result:
http://www.interimlocation.com/fretnomore/photo/10d/pictures/smallbirds/birdbath2.jpg
What do you say, is this convincing, and worth pursuing?

Hi,
My U.S. born son is travelling with my friends from India to USA. He had gone to India for summer vacation. Would anybody have any sample letter for addressing to immigration authorities that we authorize his travel along with my friend.
Thanks.

Hello All,
I am in a strange situation.
My attorney is about to file my I-1485 this week.
My details:
Previous company:
Perm PD: June 2006 EB2
I-140 EB2 approved in Nov/2006.
Current company:
PERM filed: Oct/24/2007
I-140 EB2 filed on Jan/31/2008
trying to recapture the old PD of June/2006.
Today, when I checked my I-140 status, it says "Request for Evidence sent" yesterday.
What are my options now? I do not know if I am eligible to go ahead and file my I-485 now ? What are the implications if I go ahead and file my I-485 now.? Please let me know your ideas.
Thanks in advance
wait for the RFE. And respond to it first. Or you can go ahead and file anyway.

Thanks Dhundhun.
To be clear When you say "packets" should i put them within two envelopes?
I was planning on just putting the documents(application and supporting docs) bound by paper clips.
sorry if its a dumb question but this being my first time filing this wanted to be extra sure.
Yes. One envelop for AP and the other one for EAD. Put both envelops in Fedex envelop.

I applied for H1B and Green Card Simultaneously in 2002. My first H1B expired in 2005. I am working on EAD. My questions are--
If I decide to change jobs and apply for H1B with the new company, am I subject to the QUOTA?
If I change jobs( in similar field) to another state in another service center, how is my case transfered to TSC from NSC?
Please reply.

Nope, none - you are the first one to reply to my thread. This abysmal participation is reflective of our general apathy towards our own pitiable condition.

I have similar issue and spoke to my Immig Attorney, who advised me as follows-
(1) In order to maintain your resident alien status, you should be in USA more than 181 days, in other words it is adviseable to stay less than 180 days outside USA.
(2) It is adviseable that you return to USA, ASAP, once you get CRIS email that GC approval has been provided.
(3) I believe you are going to use AP. You would prepare your I-94 card at the POA and the POA officer would ask you where you are employed before putting stamp on I-94. Be prepared to answer that question. Most likely 99%, the POE IO will not ask any proof. However, it is adviseable to have a current job (sort of Employment Verification Letter) and leave letter approval.
All the best.

If you create a new 'plane' and position it below the object as a floor, you will get a shadow. You can move the light sources about to get the right shadow.
ps. make sure you tick the 'include shadows' option when rendering your animation.

Hmmmmm....
How about this...
After you applied your 485 and work for the same company for 180 days, also you got your EAD. .....
Can someone change the employer afterwords (after 180 days) without worrying about H1B visa renewal/transfer?
If so what are the requirements....common guru's give us some hopes....
Thanks,
MS
